Maybe: The Agnostic Generation

Joshua, mighty man of victory, who followed God#s instructions and conquered many cities because of his obedience, was facing a battle he could not win: He had grown old. He knew his time was near, and he said, "I am going the way of all the earth:" (Jos 23:14) He gathered Isreal together and made a bold proclamation:
Now therefore fear the LORD, and serve him in sincerity and in truth: and put away the gods which your fathers served on the other side of the flood, and in Egypt; and serve ye the LORD.  15  And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD. (Jos 24:14-15)
The people declared they would serve the Lord. We have no idea how well they kept to that promise, but we do know that something was wrong.
Only two chapters later, that generation had died out, and another generation arose "which knew not the LORD," (Judges 2:10). The problem was that no matter how well that generation had kept to their promise, they didn't tell their children about God. Today's parents can learn from the Agnostic Generation. Children need to hear about God from their parents, because if parents don't teach their children about God, we may again find on the earth a generation which knows not God.
